Jungheinrich continues commitment to promoting fork lift safety

Manufacturer to sponsor FLTA Safety Conference 2017 in September

Jungheinrich UK has confirmed that it will sponsor the Fork Lift Truck Association’s National Fork Lift Safety Conference for a third consecutive year.

Taking place on Wednesday 20th September 2017, the award-winning conference sees delegates from across the country assemble to hear materials handling experts share knowledge, experiences, case studies and practical advice on the key issues affecting fork lift truck safety in the workplace.

Announcing the news, Jan Lorenz, Managing Director, Jungheinrich UK, said: “Workplace transport accidents involving fork lift trucks, as we learned at last year’s Conference, are on the rise, so it’s important to ensure safety is at the forefront of executives’ thinking.

“We are proud to once again be sponsoring the FLTA’s Safety Conference. Jungheinrich is dedicated to helping sites operate safely, and events like this are vital in keeping managers up-to-date and aware of their responsibilities.”

Association Chief Executive, Peter Harvey MBE, said: “We would like to thank Jungheinrich for its continued commitment to the Safety Conference. Now in its 15th year, the Safety Conference has grown to become a cornerstone of the industry’s calendar. This sponsorship allows us to raise standards – and keep raising them – every year.”

Safety Conference 2017 will feature presentations from industry experts, special guest speakers, a Q&A session, and more. There will also be case studies from several fork lift managers. Consistently rated as a crucial part of the event, these presentations explain the ways in which companies have successfully improved safety on their sites – often at little or no expense.

The event takes place at the Heart of England Conference and Events Centre, near Coventry. Tickets are on sale now.
