RC 5500 ride-on counterbalance
![]() |
![]() |
Described by Crown as the most versatile ride-on counterbalance on the market, the new RC 5500 series can be used throughout the workplace: from unloading trailers, through transportation outside and in, to stacking and storage. The FlexRide™ suspension reduces shock and vibration by up to three times, making the truck ride smoothly even on the roughest of surfaces, with the operator standing on a suspended platform. Contoured backrests, hip pads and footrests add to operator comfort - and productivity. The Access 123™ system control, the intrinsic stability system and a new braking system also help make the RC 5500 a leading counterbalance of its type.

Dual floating structure of BX50 109 Compact fork lift
![]() |
![]() |
In its 109 Compact series of IC engine counterbalance trucks Komatsu has placed a great deal of emphasis on operator safety and ergonomics. As a result, the truck's footprint has been reduced without compromising on any of its key features. A revolutionary new dual floating structure has been developed, whose shock absorption significantly reduces vibrations from the transmission and engine that would otherwise cause operator fatigue.

Linde ACtive G reach truck range
![]() |
![]() |
Fitted with a unique drive unit suspension and cushion rubber and superelastic tyres, the ACtive G is a dual-purpose reach truck designed to operate effectively outside on uneven surfaces (loading and unloading road vehicles, for example) as well inside (storing and retrieving loads in narrow aisle warehouses). The truck's suspension unit, with special mounting for the drive wheel and motor, adds a new dimension in operator comfort, stability and operational durability by isolating vibrations during sustained high-speed operation. The load transfer is smooth, reducing the vibration impact and, consequently, whole-body vibrations.

FM-X reach truck

![]() |
The new FM-X reach truck features a number of ergonomic firsts. The driving compartment is fully damped, resulting in a reduction in vibration transmitted from the floor surface. The FM-X seat incorporates a unique tilting back arrangement, enabling the driver to lean back in comfort to view the forks and load when working at height. The FM-X is also fitted with a proportional floorplate and seat, allowing an optimal ergonomic operating position to be obtained by any driver within a height range from under 5 feet to over six feet.

Tonero Productivity+ package
![]() |
![]() |
If your operation requires frequent reversing and driving on uneven surfaces, the Tonero Productivity+ package is a formula that can deliver greater productivity through even better ergonomics. Significantly, there is a rear grip assist, which enhances comfort and reduces back strain when reversing, especially as it is combined with a swivel seat. The grip incorporates a horn which allows the driver to sound a warning without looking away from the direction of travel. The package includes hydraulic cushioned forks (mast damper) that increase productivity when carrying a load over uneven outdoor surfaces.
