FLTA National Fork Lift Safety Conference 2016

The only thing standing between your workers and a forklift accident is you. Are you up to it?

Now in its 14th year, the Fork Lift Truck Association’s National Fork Lift Safety Conference sees delegates from across the country assemble to hear materials handling experts share knowledge, experiences, case studies and practical advice on the key issues affecting fork lift truck safety in the workplace.

This next award-winning conference will take place on Wednesday 29th June 2016 at the Heart of England Conference and Events Centre, near Coventry. The new venue offers a host of significant advantages over the locations of previous years. As well as being more centrally-located, for the convenience of most delegates, the site offers better parking, various on-site facilities, and even accommodation.

“Very informative, I found all speakers thought provoking. The Safe Site case studies were very relevant to the challenges we face.”
-Martin McAllister, William Grant & Sons Distillers Ltd-

Sponsored by leading equipment manufacturer, Jungheinrich, and supported by media partner SHD Logistics magazine, the theme for this year's event is Leadership & Ownership. Speakers, from all corners of the industry, will deliver peer-to-peer presentations and case studies on the vital importance of all staff taking responsibility for safety - be they a pedestrian worker, forklift operator, delivery driver, manager, or supervisor.

“An excellent conference with knowledgeable, captivating speakers.”
  -Phil Constantine, Vickers Laboratories-

Joining the exciting programme of industry experts is Jo Salter. In addition to being a successful management consultant and associate lecturer, Jo holds the honour of being Britain's first ever female fast jet pilot. Entrusted with £25million of weaponised military hardware, capable of speeds in excess of 1000 miles per hour, she knows a thing or two about safety and responsibility.
