FLTA attends TAF Best Practice Exchange
On November 3rd, the FLTA Chief Executive, Peter Harvey MBE, Quality Manager, Lee Medway, and Board Member, Zoe Farriday, attended the Trade Association Forum’s Best Practice Exchange.
The event was an opportunity for professionals – representing a wide range of industries – to network, share best practice advice, and attend a suite of masterclasses and seminars, hosted by subject specialists.
Insightful presentations included: Laura Robinson (Deputy Director of Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy), as well as a keynote addresses from Baroness Burt (Liberal Democrat Lords’ Principal Spokesperson for Business, Innovation and Skills) and Barry Gardiner MP (Shadow Secretary of State for International Trade and Shadow Minister for Energy and Climate Change).
The focus of the day was clearly on communication – between members, the public, and policy makers – in a range of formats: from in-house publications, such as Uplift, to websites and social media.
In all, the day was incredibly informative, and the FLTA delegates were impressed by the wealth of knowledge demonstrated by speakers and attendees alike.
