In our capacity as the UK’s leading authority on materials handling, the Fork Lift Truck Association has been inundated with coronavirus-related questions and requests for information. The answers continue to be shared as widely as possible via the FLTA website and social media.

However, the ongoing demand for guidance has been so great that we feel it is essential that we go even further in helping the UK economy to recover by sharing, much more widely, information that is normally available exclusively to our members.

As a result, the Fork Lift Truck Association is opening up its website, making a wealth of safety and best-practice resources available to everyone who needs them until the end of 2020.

In order to give you access to the most relevant information please sign into one of these two sections:

Users of forklifts

If you own or operate forklift trucks, we are offering you access to the information and resources normally only enjoyed by members of our Safe User Group until the end of 2020.

As a manager or supervisor you’ll find clear, relevant and up-to-the-minute information on a wide range of safety-related topics including: a unique step-by-step site-safety programme; interactive hazard diagnostics tool; technical bulletins; fact sheets, risk assessment documents, up-to-date guidance on legislation, a members’ magazine, bi-monthly Health & Safety newsletters and, for a limited period, use of the Safely Working with Lift Trucks video created by the FLTA’s Safety Partner Mentor FLT Training.
